Plan, schedule, and execute all distribution services, including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met. Maintains quality compliance. Ensure that the shipping schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are completed properly. Apply sound communication to carrier base as well as receiving facilities. Ensure that customer orders are picked and shipped in a timely fashion within prescribed cost levels. Develop and implement an effective receiving operation that minimizes cost and ensures receiving paperwork is processed accurately and promptly. Checks and unloads inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product and picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with high level of productivity. Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork. Counts/verifies and records all product coming into or shipping out of the building, ensuring that all product is properly counted.
