Warehouse Assembler - $15/Hr - Stevens Industries : Job Details

DescriptionStevens Industries is looking for an assembler to connect parts and hardware to complete cabinetry. This person will be responsible for ensuring the parts are correctly installed and are to good quality standards. Hand and power tools will be used to put parts together. Ability toread instructions and drawings is important to ensure correct products for customers.RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Read and understand drawings of cabinetry2. Repair minor scratches and imperfections in laminated pieces3. Select parts based on measurements and specifications with a tape measure4. Ability to align material (doors, hinges, and hardware) and put together parts to build more complex cabinets5. Inspect parts for quality as assembling parts6. Report issues in quality or process to team lead or supervisor7. Operate scanning device to accurately place inventory of completed cabinets8. Assist others as needed to complete projectsRequirements1. Ability to read drawing2. Ability to use hand and power tools3. Ability to use machines (wrapper and clamp) are preferred4. Understanding of quality imperfections5. Good communication skills both verbal and written6. Excellent hand-eye coordination7. Willingness to cross train for different job tasks in the area.8. Provide assistance and cooperation with fellow associates.Benefits:
