The Wait Staff will also be responsible for cleaning assigned areas and may be required to wash dishes as needed.Essential Job Functions:Perform opening and closing duties, as assignedAssist with the seating of patrons at tables, if necessaryAdvise on the best food and drink choices for each customer and answer questionsTake order, enter into the POS system, and deliver to the table in a timely mannerCheck the quality of the final serving and resolve any issue prior to deliveryClear empty plates from table and guarantee compliance to cleanliness standardsFollow - up with patrons at the conclusion of the meal to ensure complete satisfaction, notify supervisor of any problems.Deliver check and accept paymentWork diligently to achieve outstanding service and qualityThoroughly clean and reset all tables in assigned station at the completion of each shiftTake out trashSweep and mop dining room floorQualifications and Experience: Must be 15 years of ageMust be able to work a minimum of every other weekend and holidaysPreferred previous experience in food servicePhysical Requirements:Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
