Genesis Capital (the “Company”) is one of the largest business purpose lenders in the country, focused on providing commercial real estate financing solutions to real estate developers who buy, renovate, and sell single-family and/or multi-family residential real estate. The Company is a subsidiary of Rithm Capital (parent company), a publicly traded mortgage real estate investment trust.

Genesis Capital is launching a dynamic new Wholesale Lending platform — and we're looking for a leader to build it from the ground up.

As one of the most respected brands in business purpose lending, Genesis Capital is uniquely positioned for success in the wholesale space. Our reputation, product strength, and market credibility give us a head start — creating a rare opportunity to build something big, fast. With strong capital backing and ownership through RITHM Capital, and the ability to activate origination opportunities through our ecosystem, including sister company NewRez, this is the ideal platform to build something scalable, differentiated, and in high demand.

The VP, Wholesale Lending will design, launch, and grow a high-performing wholesale lending channel focused on business purpose loan products - including fix-and-flip, bridge, and new construction loans. This role will oversee strategy, recruiting, process development, and execution across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to align our offering for sustainable growth. This role calls for a gritty, entrepreneurial operator who's obsessed with execution and thrives on building relationships. The ideal candidate knows how to turn opportunity into results — and scale people, process, and production from the ground up.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Architect the strategic rollout of Genesis Capital's wholesale channel, growth and business planning, operational workflows, and scalable infrastructure.
  • Lead the creation of go-to-market plans that prioritize growth, broker engagement, and long-term profitability.
  • Partner with Sr. Leadership, Sales, and Operations teams to refine and align programs, guidelines, and processes for wholesale broker audiences.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a team of Account Executives and sales professionals aligned with production goals and cultural values.
  • Build a high-performance, collaborative sales culture rooted in ownership, discipline, and team accountability.
  • Oversee employee and counterparty onboarding programs and training plans to drive ramp-up success and long-term retention.
  • Build a high-quality network of third-party originators, including QM/Non-QM brokers, BPL-focused lenders, and other strategic partners.
  • Represent Genesis Capital as a trusted lending partner to the wholesale market — combining expertise with execution.
  • Collaborate with internal Marketing and Newrez teams to launch market-facing campaigns and drive broker awareness.
  • Align systems (CRM, pricing engines, pipeline management tools) and workflows to support wholesale growth and scale.
  • Implement and manage the team to targeted production based KPI's. Establish proper reporting processes to monitor channel health and performance trends.
  • Lead meeting cadences across the sales team — including training, pipeline reviews, and 1:1 coaching — to ensure focus and momentum.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and change management as the channel grows and evolves.
