Our client is a large Alternative Investment Fund base din NYC currently seeking to add a talented VP to their Treasury Finance Team. This position has recently been approved due to growth. Ideal individual must be well versed with Treasury operations, FX hedging, Cash Management and reviewing and preparing Fund Financials.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain daily cash position & short-term cash forecast models to measure global liquidity & identify potential cash shortfalls
• Collaborate with CFO/Controller on preparation of firm reporting and intracompany reconciliation process
• Day-to-day monitoring of the collateral pool, borrowing requests and portfolio data.
• Support balance sheet initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.
• Prepare and post all journal entries and prepare monthly trial balance, balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flow reports.
• Participate in the prep/review Public Fund filings, including but not limited to; 10-K and 10-Qs, and Financial disclosures
• Oversee the identification and mitigation of foreign exchange risk
• Provide daily liquidity and asset/liability management updates
• Participates in and evaluates loan commitments focused on direct lending/ Private Credit funds.
• Prepare the ALM Analysis and analyze the PnL for Balance Sheet Management and present to senior management
• Processed inter-company transfers, check issuance, positive pay & ACH monitor maintenance in the online banking portal
• Responsible for implementing efficiencies across all facets of middle-office operations and accounting areas.

Desired Skills and Professional Experience

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of (Accounting/Audit/Tax) industry experience
• Focus on liquidity management, balance sheet, business analytics, risk management, and/or treasury experience within Investment Mangement Industry.
• Prior experience with Tax Accounting/Reporting required/CPA Preferred
• Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of Management
• Technical skills; Advanced Excel/VBA/SQL/Python and Portfolio Accounting Software preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dead-line driven dynamic environment
• Innovative and creative thinker
