VP, Structured Finance Counsel - Global Investment Firm - Larson Maddox : Job Details

We are currently partnered with an elite investment firm who is looking to add a structured finance attorney to help with the growth of their business. This individual will provide key support and leadership on all transactions initiated by the Asset Based Finance Deal team. You will have exposure working across all industry verticals including Residential Mortgage, Consumer Finance, Commercial Finance, & Commercial Real Estate. This opportunity will allow you to work on high-level transactions at a major industry player in the space.

Responsibilities:

• Point person negotiating and managing transactions across a range of complex structures and asset classes including securitizations, finance facilities, joint ventures, and acquisitions.
• Support the legal team on any existing investments, including working with deal teams through waivers, amendments, collapses, restructurings and workouts.
• Advise on transaction terms sheets and closings.
• Support the Asset Based Finance team on all matters related to structured finance transactions.
• Ability to build strategic relationships with internal stakeholders, outside counsel, and deal professionals.

Requirements:

• JD from a top tier Law school
• 5-10 years of experience from a top-tier law firm or in-house environment
• Experience with securitizations, joint ventures and other capital markets transactions
• Experience working across asset classes including residential mortgages, consumer (credit cards, student loans, autos, etc.), commercial, & real estate.
