Position Summary

The VP of Sales – Employee Benefits is responsible for commanding territory performance and exceeding targets through a culture of efficiency and innovation. The role collaborates across the enterprise to grow the benefits business, shape industry discussions, ensure compliance with regulations, mitigate challenges, and maximize profitability.

What will your job entail?

Location: Remote or Hybrid (based on location)

Position Responsibilities
  • Develops and executes strategic vision and direction for Benefits and Underwriting offices, providing leadership to achieve growth and profitability.
  • Spearheads expansion, diversification, and identifies new market segments and product opportunities.
  • Analyzes industry trends, competitor landscape, and regulations, translating insights into strategies.
  • Cultivates a results-oriented culture, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Assesses regional market trends and competitor strategies to develop growth plans.
  • Champions Ryan Specialty's brand, manages relationships with brokers, MGAs, and secures partnerships.
  • Achieves annual growth and retention targets.
  • Participates in industry initiatives, builds relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in Commercial Insurance and Employee Benefit Sales.
  • Education

    Bachelor's degree required.

    Licenses & Certifications

    Minimum requirements for state A&H and/or benefits licenses.

    Compensation
