Are you a seasoned pro at navigating the intricate maze of regulatory approvals across various jurisdictions? If so, you understand the distinction between merely following protocols and actively paving the way for successful launches.2 Hour Learning is on the brink of inaugurating 25-30 new campuses within the next six months. This isn't just a vision; it's a funded, proven model in rapid execution. We need a visionary leader to take charge of this mission — someone who not only deciphers regulations but also propels timelines to completion.Your mission will encompass spearheading state-level authorizations and local permitting, covering zoning, fire safety, building codes, operational registration, and more. You won't merely observe from the sidelines; you'll be the driving force behind timelines, relationship-building, and overcoming obstacles to open campuses.About 2 Hour Learning2 Hour Learning is the engine behind Alpha Schools, NextGen Academy, GT School, Texas Sports Academy, and Unbound Academy — a thriving network of K–12 schools and educational products centered around a revolutionary concept: students can achieve a year's worth of academic growth in just two dedicated hours each day. The rest of their day is free for pursuits like sailing, sports, public speaking, or game design. Our platform integrates real-time progress dashboards, curriculum suggestions, and feedback tools, providing students and guides with the structure to excel swiftly and the freedom to thrive.Backed by private equity with long-term funding, we are scaling confidently. This is not an experiment. The model is effective. Charter applications are active, campuses are expanding, and we are constructing the infrastructure to extend this success.WHY THIS ROLE?This is a unique opportunity for post-consulting professionals seeking meaningful authority, ownership, and tangible impact — without the need to establish a startup. You'll Enjoy
- Authority to make decisions, not just influence
- An already successful model with resources to expand
- Direct influence on the education system, without the drawbacks of nonprofit bureaucracy
- The urgency of a startup with financial support and a growing national presence
You'll collaborate directly with a founding team committed to speed, data, and tangible results — not empty jargon or slow-moving committees. This team has launched companies, scaled platforms, and validated the model. Now they seek a builder to cut through bureaucratic red tape and get schools operational.ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT?If you've ever reviewed a launch timeline and thought, I can make this faster and more efficient, if only I had control, this is your chance to prove it.What You Will Be Doing
- Overseeing regulatory timelines for the launch of 25-30 campuses
- Directing state-level authorization, licensing, and school compliance documentation
- Managing local permitting processes, including zoning, fire, building, operational requirements
- Collaborating with legal, real estate, and launch operations to synchronize execution
- Creating and maintaining a repeatable playbook to expedite launches
- Fostering reliable relationships with city, state, and agency officials across various jurisdictions
What You Won't Be Doing
- Following an existing playbook — you'll be expected to create one
- Spectating from the sidelines — this role focuses on securing approvals, not just tracking status
- Choosing between speed and accuracy — both are essential
- Handling one location at a time — you'll oversee concurrent launches in multiple states
- Working in isolation — this role is the hub of legal, facilities, and launch operations
- Getting lost in processes — your task is to simplify, accelerate, and remove obstacles
- Delegating regulatory risk responsibility — you own the timeline
