Vice President - National Casualty Broker
Position Overview
Join a dynamic team as a Vice President specializing in National Casualty brokerage services. This strategic role combines high-level client relationship management with mentorship opportunities, working alongside Global Client Executives to deliver exceptional risk management solutions. We offer a flexible hybrid work environment requiring three days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Lead comprehensive client relationship strategies focused on retention and service excellence
- Partner with Global Client Executives and casualty account teams to deliver superior client experiences
- Maintain and expand relationships with key insurance market underwriters
- Keep clients informed of marketplace trends, innovations, and opportunities
Technical Excellence
- Create and present renewal specifications to insurance markets
- Negotiate optimal policy terms, conditions, and premium structures
- Analyze and present marketing results to clients with strategic recommendations
- Review and ensure accuracy of quotes, binders, policies, and endorsements
- Coordinate complex international placements through global broker networks
Business Development & Growth
- Support new business development initiatives and prospect opportunities
- Prepare compelling capabilities presentations and comprehensive RFP responses
- Deliver impactful oral presentations to prospective clients
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the National Risk Management Casualty Practice
Operations & Service Delivery
- Oversee certificate of insurance and identification card production
- Manage invoice processing and ensure timely payment coordination
- Review client contracts to identify coverage gaps and optimization opportunities
- Deploy Risk Consulting Services including Claims, Loss Control, and Analytics
- Coordinate production of renewal strategies, presentations, and stewardship reports
Leadership & Development
- Mentor and develop junior casualty professionals
- Collaborate across multiple office locations and diverse teams
- Lead special projects and respond to unique client requests
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 10 years of client service experience in the insurance industry
- Valid Property & Casualty Broker's License(s)
Technical Skills
- Comprehensive expertise in casualty and international insurance coverages
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities
- Experience with captive insurance arrangements preferred
