Role Overview
The VP of Market Access & Value-Based Partnerships will lead Rune Labs' market access strategy and execution, focusing on expanding our successful value-based care model to new integrated delivery networks, Medicare Advantage plans, and ACOs. This role will also explore and develop alternative payment models, including direct-to-consumer channels, to accelerate adoption of our StrivePD platform.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute comprehensive market access strategy across payer segmentsLead pricing and contracting strategy for different customer segments and payment modelsBuild and lead a high-performing market access teamServe as a key member of the senior leadership teamValue-Based Care Expansion:
Leverage Kaiser Permanente results to develop compelling value propositions for integrated health systems and risk-bearing entitiesStructure and negotiate value-based contracts with healthcare organizationsDesign innovative risk-sharing models that align with customer needs and Rune Labs' capabilitiesDevelop frameworks for measuring and reporting on value-based care outcomesMarket Access Innovation:
Identify and develop new market access channels, including direct-to-consumer strategiesCreate pricing models that work across different payment types (value-based, fee-for-service, cash pay)Partner with product team to ensure market access requirements are reflected in product roadmapCollaborate with clinical teams to generate evidence supporting market access strategiesStakeholder Management:
Build relationships with key decision makers at target healthcare organizationsWork with government affairs team on relevant policy initiativesCollaborate with marketing to develop market access materials and value propositionsPartner with finance team on pricing models and revenue forecastingRequired Qualifications
12+ years of experience in healthcare market access, with at least 5 years focused on value-based care modelsProven track record structuring and implementing risk-sharing agreements with health systemsDeep understanding of Medicare Advantage and ACO payment modelsExperience launching and scaling digital health or therapeutic productsStrong analytical skills and ability to build financial models for various payment structuresExcellence in executive-level communications and presentationsBachelor's degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferredPossess current U.S. work authorizationDesired Experience
Background working with movement disorder or neurology products/servicesExperience with direct-to-consumer healthcare business modelsKnowledge of Parkinson's disease care delivery and economicsTrack record of working with both regional and national health plansUnderstanding of digital health reimbursement landscapeExperience building and leading market access teamsSuccess Metrics
