Summary

The VP of Diversity and Inclusion will develop and implement the organization's diversity initiatives and strategy to attract, hire, maintain, and grow a diverse workplace.

Position Responsibilities
  • Oversee the diversity and inclusion goals and objectives of the organization and create processes and programs through which the organization will meet these goals.
  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and senior leadership to develop and implement targeted strategies to attract, retain, develop, and promote diverse employees.
  • Partner with Organizational Development to develop and implement required and inclusive training, as well as development and mentoring programs.
  • Create and lead a Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Committee, which oversees the execution of the organization's D&I processes and programs.
  • Work with senior leadership to identify and address diversity gaps, including current or projected talent needs.
  • Develop, advance, and maintain relationships with diverse colleges and universities, professional organizations, and communities to attract diverse talent.
  • Develop and implement inclusion initiatives, such as multicultural events.
  • Identify and address areas of improvement in multicultural or minority support and development within the organization.
  • Provide guidance to leaders and teams to ensure consistent and inclusive approaches are followed.
  • Education

    Bachelor's Degree

    Position RequirementsRequirements
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the D&I landscape.
    • Experience assessing needs and developing solutions to address them.
    • Experience building, managing, and scaling high-profile programs involving change management and organizational buy-in.
    • Experience developing and maintaining internal and external professional relationships.
    • Experience in organizational change, recruitment, retention, training, or facilitation.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
    Preferences
    • A Bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field is preferred.
