Galaxy is seeking a Vice President for its digital asset investment team, focusing on DeFi execution trading. The role involves managing on-chain opportunities and capital deployment strategies within the rapidly evolving crypto landscape.

• Manage and optimize digital asset portfolios with a focus on yield generation and capital preservation.
• Evaluate and deploy capital across various on-chain opportunities, including staking, lending, and yield farming.
• Interact with smart contracts and DeFi protocols on blockchains like Ethereum, Solana, and Avalanche.
• Assess and monitor smart contract risks using secure frameworks and due diligence practices.
• Identify and vet new DeFi platforms and yield opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliant capital deployment.
• Stay updated on trends in the crypto and DeFi landscape.
• Support the development of tools for tracking and analyzing digital asset strategies.

• 4–8+ years in asset management, hedge funds, crypto investing, or blockchain research.
• Strong understanding of DeFi, on-chain analytics, and blockchain infrastructure.
• Direct experience with wallets, smart contracts, and permissionless protocols.
• Proficiency with tools like Dune Analytics, Nansen, or DefiLlama.
• Demonstrated ability to assess smart contract and platform risk.
• Passion for crypto markets and financial innovation.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields preferred.

• Experience with DAO proposals or governance.

• Base salary range: $180,000 - $220,000 USD.
