Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

Our client is seeking a Vice President to join their team in Manhattan, New York. This newly created position will support deal execution for the firm's high‑grade private placement business. In this role, you will have significant exposure to the investment teams across the organization, allowing you to build strong connections and gain valuable experience. This is a hybrid role with a competitive compensation package!

Job Function

• Lead transaction execution from term sheet through closing across various asset classes.
• Coordinate with investment, legal, risk, and compliance teams to align on deal structure and requirements.
• Manage deal timelines, third‑party advisors, and due diligence processes.
• Oversee and synthesize findings from data rooms, audits, consultant reports, and other due diligence inputs.
• Build and review financial models, including scenario analyses, credit metrics, and return sensitivities.
• Negotiate and finalize transaction documents, working with external counsel to ensure compliance and alignment with fund structure.
• Support post‑investment monitoring of portfolio performance and covenant compliance.

Job Requirements

• 5–12 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, structured finance, or alternative investments.
• Strong understanding of fund structures, regulatory environments, and cross‑border transaction dynamics.
• MBA (Finance), CFA, or CPA preferred.
• Bachelor's degree from a top‑tier institution required.
