Summary

OHP is seeking a visionary and clinically grounded Vice President of Clinical Transformation to pioneer the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide clinical programs that elevate oncology care delivery. This transformative executive role offers an extraordinary opportunity to drive innovation across the entire cancer care continuum—from screening and diagnosis to survivorship and end-of-life care—while applying your creativity to net-new program development from day one. You will partner closely with pharmacy, operations, and technology leaders to build scalable clinical pathways and integrate advanced analytics into a high-performing, multidisciplinary oncology care model. Working at the intersection of clinical excellence and strategic innovation, you'll collaborate with clinical leaders across multiple health systems, gaining deep insights into emerging clinical trends and barriers to care while becoming a recognized national thought leader in oncology clinical guidelines and pathways. This dynamic role requires a multi-dimensional leader who thrives in matrixed environments—an experienced self-starter comfortable with independent decision-making, strategic partnership with health system executives, and building and holding accountable high-performing teams. Your exceptional communication and active listening skills will be essential as you discern actionable insights from complex clinical challenges, drive prioritization strategies, and provide clear directions to shape the future of oncology care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Clinical Program Development: Design and refine world-class, evidence-based clinical protocols, clinical guidelines, and clinical pathways across the oncology continuum, from screening to survivorship and end-of-life care.
  • Provide Strategic Clinical Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, offering clinical insight and guidance on enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Cultivate High-Performing Teams: Develop and mentor a national clinical team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement that drives clinical excellence
  • Drive Clinical Innovation: Identify clinical problems and create clinical programs which standardize care models that promote quality improvement, clinical excellence, and innovation.
  • Establish and Monitor KPIs: Define key performance indicators for clinical performance and lead intervention projects to achieve measurable improvements.
  • Lead High-Performing, High-Quality Teams: Build and mentor a multidisciplinary clinical transformation team, fostering a culture of collaboration, clinical accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Advance Precision Oncology: Partner with experts in genomics, biomarkers, pathology, and advanced therapies to improve the accuracy and currency of clinical protocol development,
  • Align with Value-Based Care: Develop clinical programs that align with value-based care metrics and participation requirements, including quality, cost-efficiency, and patient experience.
  • Support Clinical Research Expansion: Strengthen research infrastructure and integrate clinical trials into standard care pathways.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing clinical programs that improve quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
  • Advanced clinical degree (PharmD, MD, NP) required
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in oncology clinical operations, pharmacy, or care transformation with the ability to make ongoing clinical therapy decisions. Minimum of 5 years of progressive people leadership.
  • Deep understanding of oncology care delivery, including infusion and oral therapies, diagnostics, and supportive care.
  • Experience with EHR integration, clinical analytics, and technology-enabled care models.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive enterprise-level change.
