**The Role:**

The VP Business Information Security Officer (BISO) at McCann Worldgroup (MWG) will lead a team responsible for all aspects of information security within the agency. This includes security operations, incident response, architecture and review, tooling evaluations, documentation, GRC, and other relevant areas or disciplines. The role will interface with MWGs holding company (IPG) security office as well as various subject matter experts throughout the collection of agencies within MWG. This is a global position, and some travel may be required.

**What You Will Do:**

**The Business Information Security Officer for McCann Worldgroup will be required to:**

* Security Operations: Implementation, monitoring and usage of industry standard tools and other processes.

+ Vulnerability Management: Assist the technology departments within MWG to prioritize remediations of vulnerabilities across a global estate. This would include reporting, communications, and documentation.

+ Incident Response: Actively respond to threats facing the MWG network, working closely with the IPG CISO as well as any appropriate 3rd party organization.

+ Data Quality: Ensure all tools are reporting accurate and timely information.

* Design and Review of architecture and solutions: This role will be involved in the design, planning and review of all information security initiatives. These will include tools, and processes for the corporate environment as well as to-be-built solutions provided by MWG for clients.

* Governance, Risk and Compliance: This role will interface with the IT compliance groups within MWG and IPG ensure all controls are being followed as well as the appropriate levels of controls are in place.

**Who You Will Be:**

**To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable previous relevant experiences and skills with the following:**

**Key Skills**

* 7+ years experience in a dedicated information security role or capacity.

* Strong project management, communication, and documentation skills. This includes IR reporting, application security reviews, network diagrams, and other types of reporting to various levels of staff.

* Working knowledge of Incident Response tools and methods.

* Should have strong knowledge and experience with working in cloud environments, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and IaC (Infra as Code). Traditional DevOps and DevSecOps experience a plus.

* Strong understanding of SIEM technologies and their use in the security environment.

* Should be familiar with the range of security offerings including commercial and open source.

* Should have experience working with vulnerability management data using industry recognized tools and prioritizing and communicating those results to non-security staff.

* Should be familiar with industry standard frameworks and organizations (e.g., NIST, CIS, etc.).

* Certifications from a recognized provider (e.g., ISC, SANS/GIAC, ISACA, etc.) are preferred.

* Experience working in a large and global company that serves multiple disciplines is preferred.
