Position Type: Athletics/Activities/Coach Date Posted: 5/20/2025 Location: Roaring Fork High School Date Available: August 2025 Job Title: C-Team Volleyball Coach Location: Roaring Fork High School - Carbondale, Colorado Position Type: Seasonal / Stipend Position Application Deadline: Open until filled Start Date: August 11, 2025 (Preseason begins early August) Job Summary: Roaring Fork High School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to serve as our C-Team Volleyball Coach for the 2025 season. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with developing athletes, teaching fundamental volleyball skills, and creating a team culture rooted in effort, accountability, and growth. This position reports directly to the Head Volleyball Coach and the Athletic Director. GO RAMS! Key Responsibilities:

• Lead practices that focus on fundamental skill development, game understanding, and team building
• Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined team environment
• Teach players the rules, strategies, and expectations of Rams Volleyball
• Communicate clearly and consistently with players, families, and staff
• Support the mission and philosophy of the Basalt Volleyball Program and Athletic Department
• Supervise athletes during practices, games, travel, and team events
• Ensure compliance with CHSAA and Roaring Fork School District policies and procedures
• Monitor athlete conduct and academic progress

Qualifications:

• Coaching and/or playing experience in volleyball preferred
• Ability to motivate and connect with high school athletes, especially freshmen and sophomores
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Commitment to character development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Availability for practices (typically after school) and weekend games
• Must complete required district certifications (CPR/First Aid, CHSAA, etc.) and pass a background check
