- Develop and deploy voice communication systems, including VoIP, PBX, and other telephony solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Monitor and maintain voice systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Utilize IPC engineering experience to manage and optimize voice communication platforms.
- Oversee relationships with carriers, manage Hoot and Holler services, and ensure efficient voice recording solutions.
- Coordinate the development, deployment, and decommissioning of voice-related products, ensuring timely updates and adherence to version control protocols.
- Implement and manage patching schedules, maintain version control, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Work closely with IT, network, and security teams to align voice systems with organizational goals and security policies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures related to voice systems.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IPC engineering and voice communication systems.
- Proficiency in managing carrier services, Hoot and Holler systems, and voice recording technologies.
- Strong understanding of VoIP protocols, SIP, RTP, and related technologies.
- Experience with product life cycle management, patching processes, and version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex voice communication issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Desired: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCVP). Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
