The Education faculty currently provide training to candidates in Elementary, Secondary, and Special Education. We are especially interested in candidates whose experience includes bridging research and practice in K-12 elementary and special education settings, with expertise in literacy and/or mathematics, assessment, inclusive education, and clinical supervision. We aim to recruit applicants who will support the School of Education's programs including a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Masters of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction (Elementary Education) and the Master's degree in Special Education. Program delivery includes face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching and mentoring students. Supervising elementary and/or special education clinicalexperiences. Demonstrating an understanding of cultural competence. Contributingto the mission of the School and profession through service activities. Collaboratingwith colleagues on program development and enhancement. Performingother duties as assigned. Minimum QualificationsThe ideal candidate for this position will have: Advanceddegree in Special Education, Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction,or closely related field (by August 2025).
