The candidate will teach three courses a semester, for two semesters. Area of expertise is open, but the candidate should be qualified and prepared to teach at least one section of RELG108: God in America; and two courses covering religion in Asia. The candidate will also teach one course (Fall) in the college's First Year Seminar program, which offers an opportunity to welcome students to Dickinson through a small seminar class, designed around the faculty members' interests and in which basic college skills are taught. Of particular interest are courses that contribute to the College's initiatives in global education, sustainability, and civic engagement. The ability to create inclusive learning environments for an increasingly diverse student body will be an important characteristic of the successful candidate. Ph.D. in Religion or relevant discipline required. Six-course load. Dickinson College is a highly selective four-year, independent liberal arts college with 2200 students.
