Who We are Seeking:

The Virtual Design Modeler I is the first position in the Modeler series. The Modeling team is a key partner to in-house Architecture, Engineering, VDC, manufacturing, project management and construction/installation of large scale commercial projects. Using various modeling technologies and processes the modeler produces detailed models that are coordinating with other design and construction disciplines for streamlined workflows, lower costs, and higher quality. The VD Modeler I will work closely with designers, manufacturers and senior level VD Modelers to support successful projects, develop their skill sets, and progress through their career path

Desired Education/Experience/Skills:

» Education in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Drafting, or a related discipline or equivalent field experience or related work experience.

» 2+ years of experience in a BIM (Building Information Modeling) environment (training experience may be considered).

» Proficiency with current versions of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.

» Ability to independently troubleshoot minor software issues.

» Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

» Effective communication skills with team members and key project stakeholders.

» Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, submittals, and codes required to perform work effectively.
