Violence Prevention Program Director - The Salvation Army Eastern Territory : Job Details

Of Position:Develop and implement the Trauma-Informed Violence Prevention Program as described in the approved Commonwealth of PA proposal which includes but is not limited to:Working with the children in the Learning Center, their families as well as families receiving assistance through the social services programs of the Salvation Army. Develop and articulate memorandums of agreement with local schools and agencies for referrals and support services Provide children and their families with intervention and coping strategies to address the trauma from and prevention of future gun violence Identify behavioral specialists to be used for group trainings and develop contracts for services Develop and oversee trauma-informed group training sessions Develop and oversee lesson plans focusing on conflict resolution techniques in the Learning Center and other social services programs Develop and implement team building activities in the Learning Center and other social services programs Train...Program Director, Director, Program, Business Services, Trauma, Training
