Kansas State University seeks an accomplished leader and collaborative problem solver to serve as the Vice Provost for Operations (VPO). Reporting to the Executive Vice President and Provost, the VPO will lead complex institutional projects, support strategic initiatives, and oversee operations within the Office of the Provost.

The VPO will act as a senior leader, fostering relationships across campuses, managing communications, and supporting policy development. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budget alignment, supervising staff, and facilitating organizational change.

Qualifications include a Masters degree from an accredited institution, a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in strategic and management roles, excellent communication and decision-making skills, and the ability to lead diverse teams. Preferred qualifications include a passion for public higher education and experience in land-grant institutions.

This role requires on-site work at Manhattan, KS, with policies on remote work available on the university website. Salary range: $95,903 - $115,903 annually.
