***Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days a week in the office) in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, or New York, NY.***

As our new Vice President, Strategic Operations and Project Management, you'll be part of a driven and fast-paced team with lots of moving parts, so it is important that you can multitask and think quickly on your feet. The right candidate is organized and intuitive, but not afraid to ask questions and learn. We are looking for a strategic partner to build and lead the economic engine that powers a high-profile, global sports marketing account. You will be the architect of the financial and operational infrastructure that allows our team to deliver world-class work, scale rapidly, and make intelligent, data-driven decisions. This role is core to the future growth and success of the business.

As the Vice President, Strategic Operations and Project Management, you will be responsible for delivering clarity and confidence across the entire account. You will own the integrity of our team's processes and financial data, building a foundation of trust that enables us to operate with speed and precision. This position requires strong leadership to manage our financial health, optimize operational workflows, and ensure the team has the infrastructure needed to succeed.

THE WORK YOU'LL DO

  • Be a team leader cultivating an inclusive environment for all team members
  • Serve as the key integration partner across internal teams
  • Build and cultivate positive client relationships
  • Lead day-to-day project management for the client business
  • Oversee tracking and delivery of key global properties and ambassadors
  • Lead development of account award submissions globally
  • Develop and manage the comprehensive financial model for the account, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
  • Design, implement, and refine the operational playbook for the team, ensuring efficient project management and flawless execution
  • Own the integrity of all financial data, overseeing reporting to both agency and client leadership with accuracy and strategic insights
  • Serve as a key thought partner to the account leads and company leadership, using financial and operational data to inform strategy and drive intelligent growth
  • Lead all financial and operational aspects of sponsorship contract management and reconciliation
  • Become an authority on our clients' business and evolving business functions
  • Lead on the development of key documents to include senior executive presentations, strategy documents, competitive reports, best practice guides and case studies

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 10+ years of experience in project management and operational roles in sports marketing preferred
  • PMP certification or previous work in Business Affairs a strong preference
  • Expert in building and managing financial models and reporting dashboards
  • Proven track record of creating new processes that create efficiency
  • Experience advising and developing presentations for senior leadership
  • Validated ability to work as part of a team and to tackle problems effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter who will take initiative with new projects and work with a variety of people
  • Capacity to become an expert on client's brand and the state of client's industry
  • Experience with development and maintenance of project tracking tools
  • Ability and flexibility to travel domestically up to 10%

The base range for this position is $135,000 – 160,000. Where an employee or prospective employee ispaid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background pertinent experience, and qualifications.
