As the Vice President of Solutions Engineering, you'll lead a high-performing team of Sales Engineers and Architects across the region. You'll be instrumental in helping organizations, unlock the power of Salesforce, and build a data-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Directors, Solution Engineers and Architects to foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to define and execute the sales strategy, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Account Executives, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment between technical solutions and customer needs.
Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, from presales activities such as discovery and requirements analysis to solution design and presentation.
Leverage your profound technical expertise in modern cloud data platforms and data analytics tools to craft tailored and innovative solutions for clients.
Drive collaboration with Product Marketing to shape messaging, sales plays, and go-to-market strategies based on customer insights and market trends.
Champion the capture of customer feedback to influence product roadmap decisions and optimize revenue generation.
Represent Salesforce at key industry events and conferences, enhancing our thought leadership and market visibility.
Who you are:
10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or sales engineering, with a proven track record of success in highly technical sales.
Expertise in CRM, CDP, modern cloud data platforms and data analytics tools, acquired through years of technology sales experience.
Exceptional leadership skills with a history of effectively leading and developing high-performing teams.
Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex technical information into customer-centric solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, honed through years of experience in technical sales.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, complemented by your extensive technology sales background.
