About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Security for its News Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of all security logistics and physical security operations, both domestically and internationally. This includes the planning and execution of security for all news remotes, assessing security needs, managing security vendors, and ensuring the safety of employees, properties, and operations. The role also involves working closely with various teams, including the Global Response & Intelligence Center, Cyber Security, and local, state, and national law enforcement agencies. The VP, Security will be expected to have a strong background in security concepts and methods, as well as the ability to manage a global team and budget.Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in a relevant leadership role, with at least 10 years' of experience managing a global team. A background in corporate security, law enforcement, or military service is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in security management, including experience with executive protection, incident response, and security policy creation. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills are required, as is the ability to work with senior executives and high-profile talent. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is desired, and the candidate should be willing to be on call 24/7 and travel as needed.
