Job PurposeThe Vice President, Revenue Cycle Services – E2E will have a major impact on the ongoing partnership with key clients of the organization by demonstrating finesse with client relationships, thorough knowledge of client needs and RCM operational expertise.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee end to end revenue cycle service management for designated client(s)Maintain acceptable levels of days in A/R, bad debt, and other key indicatorsAnalyze financial results, develop and implement action plans as neededPartner with appropriate resources on chargemaster strategic pricing, evaluate charge structure, contractual terms and conditionsAct as a technical expert in regards to financial class responsibility for client and team membersDevelop and drive strategic initiations to optimize operating results and improved performance.Develop strategic annual plans to achieve client KPIsSeek and develop opportunities for new services, revenue generation, and/or process optimizationConduct regular visits to client facilities for touch point meetings including account reviews (with associated data and policy analysis) as appropriateReport on trends in payments and/or denials; procedural issuesMake recommendations to the client for correction of trendsWork closely with all levels of client and Med-Metrix leadership on issues and initiates related to revenue cycle management operations.Manage vendor and other 3rd party resources as appropriate and ensure performance adheres to client expectations and KPIsAccountability for profit and loss of client RCM activities including workforce management and revenue forecasts.Ensure all compliance and safety standards at client sites are maintained and adhered to by Med-Metrix employeesEnsure timely and direct resolution of client issues and involve other team members as appropriateEnsure operational team members adapt and respect client culture nuances to result in an exceptional customer experienceOther duties as assigned by the management teamUse, protect and disclose patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standardsUnderstand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all timesLimit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned dutiesQualificationsUndergraduate degree; post graduate degree preferred; degrees in Accounting or Finance preferred10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership rolesExperience in healthcare consulting, sales or RCM operation managementDetail oriented and well organizedAbility to perform under pressure in a calm manner & maintain a positive attitudeExcellent, customer service, verbal, written, listening and interpersonal skillsProficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
