About this role: Conduct valuations of securities for investment companies, including illiquid investments like bank loans, subordinated debt, and equity in private companies, as well as structured products. Assist the Portfolio group leader and work with analysts to complete valuation assignments.
What you will do:
Manage and collaborate with analysts to conduct research supporting valuations, including valuation drivers, industry analysis, and comparable analyses.Gather and document data through client interactions.Build and modify financial models for various valuation methods.Build and maintain client relationships.Identify and communicate potential engagements.Assist analysts with valuation analyses to determine fair value.Prepare and review reports, communicate results to clients.What you will need:
- 5-7 years of experience in constructing and reviewing valuation and financial models.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- CFA/ASA designation preferred; CAIA or progress towards is a plus.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under deadlines.
- Strong work ethic and flexibility.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
