Job Description :

Regional VP of Operations will lead customer operations aspects of flatbed trucking operations

This includes developing relationships with AFC customers, assist with dispatch and planning, monitoring driver performance

This is a key executive role focused on operational precision, growth, and leadership

You'll build scalable systems, lead multi-site teams, and work directly with the CEO to execute our ambitious growth plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and Develop key customer relationshoip
  • Optimize AFC Freight Network
  • Build and manage KPIs for revenue per truck, utilization, idle, fuel, and HOS efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement in driver retention, training, and profitability
  • Collaborate closely with recruiting, HR, and safety leadership
  • Develop and enforce SOPs for planning, customer freight execution, and dispatch rhythm
  • Optimize fleet use, regional strategy, and partial load management
  • Coach and mentor regional leaders, fleet managers, and load planners
  • Partner with technology, analytics, and maintenance teams to improve visibility and efficiency

Ideal Candidate

  • 7+ years of experience in flatbed or specialized trucking operations
  • Proven leadership of teams (dispatch, planners, driver managers, safety)
  • Strong knowledge of driver behavior, fuel and safety KPIs, and planning processes
  • Hands-on and data-driven; can zoom in or out as needed
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • High integrity, disciplined, and committed to building a winning team
