About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive supply chain strategy that ensures the efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of products and materials. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, demand planning, and supplier relationships, with a focus on aligning these activities with the organization's business goals. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Supply Chain include leading and managing end-to-end supply chain operations, developing and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency, and building strong vendor and supplier relationships. The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain systems and processes, as well as the identification and mitigation of risks associated with supply chain disruptions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 5 years' distribution center experience, and a proven track record of strong leadership, negotiation, and project management skills. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential, and familiarity with the Epicor P21 system is preferred.
