Position Summary:
The VP of Production & Logistics is a strategic and hands-on executive leader responsible for optimizing all manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, and transportation activities. This role will champion efficiency, quality, and safety while driving continuous improvement and building a world-class operations team.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Lead all production, packaging, warehousing, and logistics functions to meet demand, cost, and quality targets.
- Set and execute operational strategy, ensuring scalability, compliance, and sustainable growth.
- Develop budgets, manage capital expenditures, and track KPIs for operational performance.
Manufacturing & Quality
- Oversee manufacturing site in Hauppauge, NY to ensure adherence to cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards.
- Partner with Quality, R&D, and Planning to align production schedules with business priorities.
- Ensure operational readiness for new product launches.
Logistics & Supply Chain
- Lead domestic and international logistics, warehousing, and transportation to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
- Optimize distribution processes to reduce lead times, improve service levels, and enhance sustainability.
People & Culture
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing operations leadership team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing or supply chain, with 5+ years at the senior executive level.
- Experience in dietary supplements, food, or nutraceuticals required
- Deep knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and quality management systems.
- Proven success managing multi-site operations and distribution networks.
- Strong attention to details and experience with hands on management of teams.
- Strong financial, analytical, and change management skills.
Preferred
- Contract manufacturing management experience
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- International logistics experience
