Position Summary:

The VP of Production & Logistics is a strategic and hands-on executive leader responsible for optimizing all manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, and transportation activities. This role will champion efficiency, quality, and safety while driving continuous improvement and building a world-class operations team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Lead all production, packaging, warehousing, and logistics functions to meet demand, cost, and quality targets.
  • Set and execute operational strategy, ensuring scalability, compliance, and sustainable growth.
  • Develop budgets, manage capital expenditures, and track KPIs for operational performance.

Manufacturing & Quality

  • Oversee manufacturing site in Hauppauge, NY to ensure adherence to cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Partner with Quality, R&D, and Planning to align production schedules with business priorities.
  • Ensure operational readiness for new product launches.

Logistics & Supply Chain

  • Lead domestic and international logistics, warehousing, and transportation to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Optimize distribution processes to reduce lead times, improve service levels, and enhance sustainability.

People & Culture

  • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing operations leadership team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing or supply chain, with 5+ years at the senior executive level.
  • Experience in dietary supplements, food, or nutraceuticals required
  • Deep knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and quality management systems.
  • Proven success managing multi-site operations and distribution networks.
  • Strong attention to details and experience with hands on management of teams.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and change management skills.

Preferred

  • Contract manufacturing management experience
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • International logistics experience
