Job Description

The Vice President of Network and Security will lead the strategic and operational management of the company's network infrastructure and security framework. This executive role is critical in ensuring the integrity, resilience, and efficiency of IT services and systems. The VP will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of network and security solutions that support organizational goals and protect against security threats.

This Position Will Entail

  • Developing and executing a cohesive network and security strategy aligned with the company's objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Leading the network and security teams, overseeing deployment of infrastructures, and managing large-scale projects.
  • Establishing and maintaining secure architectures for cloud-based and on-premise environments.
  • Proactively monitoring security and network performance, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Conducting regular system tests and continuous monitoring of network security.
  • Developing and enforcing policies for network administration, security protocols, and disaster recovery.
  • Managing vendor relationships and negotiating with service providers to meet company needs.
  • Staying current with latest networking and security technologies and trends to improve infrastructure.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Education and Work Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in network management and security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing large-scale IT projects.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree in a related field.
    • Experience in industries with high regulatory compliance requirements.
    • Experience in transforming IT infrastructure and security to support scaling operations.

    Certifications

    • CISSP, CCIE, CISM, or other relevant certifications in network or security management.
