Vice President of Human Resources

Location : Mineola, NY

Employment Type : Full-Time | On-Site

Salary Range : $175,000 – $215,000

Education : Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or HR certification preferred

Experience : Minimum 10 years in HR, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment

Position Overview :

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Vice President of Human Resources to lead our HR function and drive organizational excellence. This executive role will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and organizational development, with a strong emphasis on supporting a manufacturing workforce.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives and company culture.

Lead and mentor the HR team across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and compliance.

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract top talent.

Implement and manage performance management systems and employee development programs.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Partner with operations and manufacturing leadership to support workforce planning and labor relations.

Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.

Manage compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs to remain competitive in the market.

Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team on all HR-related matters.

Required Qualifications :

Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience , with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment .

Proven leadership experience in a senior HR role, preferably in a mid-to-large-sized organization.

Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HR best practices.

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to lead change and influence at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR.

Experience with unionized environments and labor negotiations.

Pay Details : $175, to $215, per year
