About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Financial Regulatory Reporting to oversee the preparation and review of a wide range of regulatory reports for its US operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports, including those for the Federal Reserve, Department of Treasury, and Department of Commerce. This role involves reconciling reporting data to the general ledger, validating static data, and performing variance analysis. The VP will also be tasked with supporting the governance function of regulatory reports, monitoring changes in reporting instructions and accounting standards, and maintaining procedure documentation related to regulatory requirements.Applicants for the VP of Financial Regulatory Reporting position at the company should have a Bachelors degree in accounting, with an advanced degree or professional certifications such as CPA or CFA being preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial or regulatory reporting within the banking industry is required. The role demands proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with experience in regulatory reporting tools like Axiom and BI tools such as Alteryx or Power BI also being preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of US GAAP and financial products, and be adept at coordinating with multiple stakeholders across the organization.
