STARTING SALARY RANGE: $120,000 to $150,000 annually, dependent on experience

The Vice President of Engineering will oversee all activities relating to the engineering department including product development, technical sales support, project estimating, and department budget management. This role requires close collaboration with leadership teams to ensure all aspects of projects are On Time - On Budget - Done Right - Done Safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical sales support to aid customer understanding of department capabilities and experience
• Support sales in project estimating based on project historical data and knowledge
• Assign project leads and supporting team members to projects that have been awarded
• Provide overall department workload scheduling
• Supervise and conduct performance reviews for engineering department staff members
• Responsible for staff hiring
• Provide department status updates to upper management and ownership
• Provide department capacity availability to sales management
• Manage department budget
• Participate as an active member of the management team
• Oversee department training and development
• Overall responsibility for work performed by the department

Many tasks include their own work and/or review of work of others in the department.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years leadership and management experience
• 10+ years engineering experience
• Engineering degree
• Master's degree in business or mechanical engineering

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to move around industrial equipment and shop environments
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods
