About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering and Applications to define and execute the technology strategy that drives its insurance platforms, enhances digital experiences, and enables data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team with a focus on platform modernization, multi-tenant innovation, and seamless delivery. This role is pivotal in advancing digital transformation efforts, including large-scale data conversions and cloud migrations, and requires a leader who can ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and deliver exceptional value and user experience. The VP will also be responsible for financial accountability, cost optimization, and leading a multi-client, service-provider model. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' progressive technology leadership experience, with a strong background in P&C insurance, modern technology, and cloud and SaaS solutions. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in managing large-scale engineering teams, driving platform modernization, and digital transformation. Deep expertise in data security, privacy compliance, and regulatory frameworks is essential. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred. Cloud certifications and Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus. The VP will be expected to champion engineering excellence, hands-on leadership, and accountability, and to act as a trusted technology partner to various business functions.
