About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Education, Employment, and Day Services to provide dynamic and strategic leadership in the oversight of day and employment services, child care programs, and educational initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a high-quality, person-centered service approach, driving innovation, and ensuring collaboration across teams. This pivotal role also involves challenging the status quo in service options, leading childcare programs, and maintaining a culture that is reflective of the organization's mission and values. The VP will be a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellence in service delivery and operational success. Applicants for the VP position at the company should have a Bachelors degree in education, human services, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in long-term care, childcare, or with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading high-performing teams and managing complex systems is required, along with a strong knowledge of relevant strategies, regulations, and compliance standards. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as strong skills in problem-solving, communication, and organizational management. The ideal candidate will have a valid NYS drivers license and be aligned with the company's mission, vision, values, and behaviors.
