About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Compliance and AI Governance to lead its Responsible AI Program. This strategic leadership role is pivotal in ensuring that AI initiatives are developed and deployed with the highest standards of ethics, transparency, and in compliance with relevant regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic program management of AI governance, including the establishment of KPIs, preparation of comprehensive reports, and continuous evaluation of governance frameworks. They will also oversee the operations of the Responsible AI program, manage the AI Review Board, and lead a dedicated team of compliance professionals and data scientists. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and familiarity with the healthcare regulatory environment, as well as solid leadership abilities to foster a culture of responsible AI within the organization. Applicants for the Vice President position must have a Bachelors degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 7-10 years' experience in AI, data science, technology governance, compliance, or a related area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading governance or compliance teams, experience with AI ethics frameworks, and a solid understanding of AI/ML technologies and data science methodologies. Key qualifications include excellent leadership, mentoring, and team development skills, strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to drive initiatives from concept to implementation. The role also demands a high level of emotional intelligence, executive presence, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
