About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President of Clinical Informatics to lead the safe and effective implementation of clinical informatics and technology. In this pivotal role, you will support nursing and patient care clinicians and serve as a vital resource for cross-functional initiatives. Your strategic vision will help guide divisional nursing leadership and promote collaboration among teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building strategic alliances and designing efficient workflows for clinical information technology systems.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical process needs.
• Developing comprehensive training strategies for staff.
• Integrating clinical technology portfolios and creating electronic clinical protocols based on evidence-based best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in acute care leadership clinical informatics, preferably with Meditech expertise.
• A valid Texas RN license.
• A Master's degree in health informatics, business administration, or nursing.
• National certification in nursing informatics.

You should demonstrate:

• A proven track record of strategic leadership and collaboration across service lines.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and a large team effectively.
• Expert proficiency in MediTech and a solid understanding of healthcare technology, clinical systems, and electronic health records (EHR).
• An enthusiastic approach to servant leadership and collaboration within the IT domain.
