About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Ambulatory Operations for its Cancer Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of outpatient clinical operations, including adult and pediatric outpatient clinics and the infusion center. This role requires close collaboration with senior leaders to ensure operational effectiveness and the efficient delivery of exceptional, patient-centered care. The VP will also be tasked with maintaining high-quality access and outcomes, overseeing the full operational functionality of the cancer center, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, budget management, and the development of policies and procedures to support the effective operation of ambulatory oncology services. Applicants must have a Master's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years' progressive healthcare or facility management experience, preferably in oncology services. The role demands a high level of problem-solving abilities, strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills, as well as a proven track record of delivering excellent service and operational outcomes within an academic medical center setting. The VP will be expected to drive performance through system-thinking, creativity, and a focus on continuous improvement, with the ultimate goal of advancing cancer patient care in alignment with the organization's teaching, research, and service missions.
