DescriptionPosition Summary:Responsible for management and leadership of the Mortgage Department, including Loan Operations and Mortgage Origination teams. Oversees residential mortgage and consumer loans processing, underwriting, and servicing. Works with originators to meet production goals, ensure high-quality portfolios, and maximize customer satisfaction. Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and market requirements.
Essential Functions- Supervises teams, ensures compliance, promotes a positive work environment
- Develops initiatives to grow market share and profitability
- Supports business development activities
- Oversees underwriting standards and loan eligibility analysis
- Ensures loans meet guidelines
- Manages loan software applications and vendor relationships
- Develops work plans, provides training, manages business continuity plans
Requires a four-year degree or equivalent experience, with five years banking experience, including management experience. Prefer experience in mortgage origination, underwriting, and loan operations. Must have excellent communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle stress and meet goals is essential.
Working ConditionsPrimarily office environment, with occasional travel. Requires focus on computer work, physical activity including lifting up to 20 pounds, and flexible hours for projects and events.
Equipment UsedStandard office equipment, including computers, printers, scanners, and telephones.
