About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP - Head of Cloud Engineering to lead and shape a world-class cloud engineering function. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing a global cloud engineering strategy that is in line with business goals. This role is pivotal in driving the organization's cloud transformation, with a focus on enabling innovation, agility, and cost-effective, secure operations across all cloud environments. Key responsibilities include serving as the senior authority in selecting cloud services, directing the architecture and deployment of enterprise-wide cloud solutions, and ensuring scalable, resilient, and cost-effective designs. The VP will also be tasked with building and managing a multi-tiered cloud engineering team, promoting best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native engineering principles, and overseeing cloud systems monitoring, incident response, and support. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with at least 12 years of infrastructure and cloud engineering experience, including leadership roles. Technical proficiency is required in Azure, AWS, and GCP, with relevant certifications preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and managing private and public clouds at scale, as well as deep expertise in infrastructure-as-code, scripting, container platforms, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong leadership and soft skills are essential, including the ability to mentor and enable growth across engineering teams, and experience in establishing cloud security and governance frameworks. Familiarity with compliance regimes in regulated industries and exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or hybrid work environments is also a plus.
