Our client is a highly successful specialty industrial company known for its strong customer-centric culture and commitment to operational excellence. We are seeking a results-driven President to lead the organization into its next phase of performance and profitability. This executive will be responsible for shaping and executing growth strategies, strengthening operational capabilities, and fostering a high-performance culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The President holds full P&L responsibility and is accountable for the overall strategic, operational, and cultural leadership. This executive will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to identify and implement strategies that drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the organization to achieve short- and long-term financial objectives by optimizing revenue growth, operational performance, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow market share, expand product offerings, and enter new markets.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance across all departments.
Operational Management
- Direct day-to-day operations including warehouse, sales, customer service, and administrative functions.
- Provide coaching and oversight to department leaders, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Implement best-in-class operational practices that improve quality, efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Customer Satisfaction & Market Growth
- Champion initiatives that elevate customer satisfaction and enhance service delivery.
- Establish and maintain effective systems to measure and improve the customer experience.
- Lead market development efforts and evaluate opportunities for new product lines, partnerships, and business acquisitions.
Performance Management
- Ensure the execution and continuous refinement of the company's performance management system.
- Promote a data-driven approach to evaluating performance and making improvements at every level.
- Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to department heads to help them succeed in their roles.
Culture & Compliance
- Uphold and strengthen company's values and team-oriented culture.
- Promote environmental stewardship and lead sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with the Quality Management System and all applicable safety & regulatory standards.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility (company or business unit).
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and improving net income.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams across operations, sales, and support functions.
- Experience in both small and mid-sized company environments.
- Strong operational background with an emphasis on efficiency, cost control, and process improvement.
- Deep understanding of customer satisfaction principles and their impact on long-term business success. Compensation
