Jamestown Community College has an immediate opening for a Vice President for Finance & Operations. Reporting to the President, the successful candidate will manage the College's operating and capital budget, capital projects; coordinate the budget and resource allocation process; financial management; formulate financial policies; and implement procedures and internal controls that ensure the financial integrity of the College.

The Vice President has accountability for the following functional areas:

• Finance and Budget Administration
• Capital Construction Projects
• Property/Facilities Administration
• Sustainability Initiatives
• Information Technology and Network Services
• Campus Safety and Security
• Corporate Compliance and Risk management

Experience and Education:

Experience in a higher education or community college setting; along with background in the above listed functional areas is preferred. Must possess an MBA, MPA or master's degree in related area, plus a minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, business or public administration including working knowledge of various accounting functions, methodologies, budget preparation, review and execution.

• Competency and/or proclivity to listen and to effectively and decisively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Ability to perform cost benefit and return-on-investment analyses
• Knowledge of investments to realize prudent returns on investment
• Grants management
• Knowledge of State and Federal government reporting requirements
• Ability to work collegially as part of a high-performing team
• Commitment to diversity with willingness to develop both digital and physical accessibility solutions for all individuals using JCC facilities

Salary: $128,000 - $150,000. Excellent benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, and NYS retirement. Opportunity for flexible work arrangement may be available.Final candidates are subject to a pre-employment criminal background investigation.
