About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Facilities Engineering to provide strategic and operational leadership for its manufacturing sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of multiple sites, ensuring the maintenance of a 24x7 mission-critical environment through preventive maintenance activities, and managing work order and labor allocation. This role also involves project management, vendor management, space planning, and a strong understanding of MEP, generators, UPS, and HVAC systems. The VP will be expected to be an onsite presence at one of the manufacturing sites, with a significant portion of the role dedicated to being physically present to oversee operations. Candidates for the Vice President of Facilities Engineering position at the company should have extensive experience in MEP and manufacturing FM, particularly in mission-critical operations. A minimum of 12 years' experience, with a background in large Capex projects and the ability to manage vendors and technical staff, is ideal. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a strong background in industry-related trades. The VP must be prepared to be onsite 5 days a week at the Long Island location and be willing to travel to domestic and Canadian sites as needed. The position demands a high level of expertise and the ability to report to executive-level stakeholders, with a focus on maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of the manufacturing facilities.
