Our Equity Sales team is seeking to hire an experienced VicePresident, Equity Sales professional. This is an ideal opportunityfor a career-minded individual who is interested in building upontheir existing institutional equity sales business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships withinstitutional clients and prospects
  • Contact investors on a daily basis with data points and ideasto assist in their investment process
  • Introduce analysts to their respective counterparts and helpmaintain and grow these relationships
  • Set up roadshows for companies to meet institutional investors
  • Garner interest and attendance for Wedbush sponsored advisor events
  • Open new accounts, increase account votes, and monetizeWedbush resources
  • Keep management aware of any developments within client base
  • Provide client reviews to management team
  • Maintain and update CRM with customer interactions
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned
Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited university required,preferably in Business, Economics or other related field
  • 5+ years of equity sales experience at a senior/producinglevel required
  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaininginstitutional relationships
  • Sector Specialists in the following sectors: TMT, Healthcare,Consumer, FIG
  • FINRA Series 7/63 licenses required
  • Existing top tier institutional and middle-market relationships
  • Highly organized multi-tasker who can work effectivelyindependently or under supervision and under tight deadlines
  • Team-oriented professionalism with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Extremely strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
  • Strong desire to grow institutional equity sales business
  • Must be highly computer literate and proficient in Excel

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role hasnot been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonableestimate of the current range is $150,000. Colleagues may be eligiblefor additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on thecolleague's and the firm's performance. At Wedbush, Decisionsregarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and aredependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to skillsets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and otherbusiness and organizational needs.
