Overview

The VP of Account Management oversees the Mars Power of One model integrated framework and ways of working across all markets with a focus on global. This role collaborates with global capability leaders and external agencies to customize and implement the integrated agency model across various marketing capabilities such as media, creative, production, commerce, and social/influencer.

This role acts as the connective tissue between Publicis and our agency partners, customizing and applying global standards and governance, identifying successes and risks, and optimizing process standards to support local, regional, and global Mars transformation ambitions and ways of working.

Ideal for an operational and process-driven individual who seeks innovative, effective ways of working, understands global vs. regional operating models, process implementation and adherence, insights management and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders across multiple agencies.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates OneMars model development, governance, standards, methods, connecting people, process, platforms, strategy to reporting.
  • Govern the integrated agency framework across various capabilities, ensuring alignment with external agency partners.
  • Customize the global process framework to address segment/division needs ensuring development of integrated workflows that meet client needs.
  • Ensures use of key agency and client platforms throughout the integrated process.
  • Manage development of key artifacts to support cross agency collaboration.
  • Responsible for ensuring Publicis capability leads, external agency partners and clients come together during key touch points throughout the integrated lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and partner agencies to streamline processes and improve ways of working.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of integrated ways of working, using insights to drive continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Act as the main contact for external agency collaborators, ensuring clear communication and handling expectations at all levels.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of marketing, advertising, operations, or program management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Has experience working on clients/accounts with heavy fragmentation on the client side beyond just IATs (e.g., multiple verticals, brands, business priorities, etc. Portfolio management also works as relevant experience.)
  • Has worked at a senior level within multi-agency and cross-disciplinary teams within an IAT-type setup
  • Must have experience in an account and/or client leadership capacity from either a media or creative agency
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior clients, manage ambitious clients, and balance a high volume of clients at once
  • Knowledgeable through all marketing capabilities with client – e.g. media, production, social/influencer, data, measurement, AI, etc.
  • Capability to understand business challenges from C-Level collaborators – and devise a plan to tackle the issues by improving operational processes, people and/ or technology.
  • Clear accountability to evolve the business to become a more operationally functional team, ready for the future.
  • Strong understanding of global and regional operating models, with proven ability to implement and optimize processes.
  • Ability to manage client facing communication directly and compile client facing presentations/ documentation.
  • Proactivity and proficiency delivering progress and completing work even with overlapping deadlines.
  • Experience developing C-level stakeholder presentations and presenting your thoughts and ideas.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.

The benefits offerings listed are available to U.S. based employees, are reviewed on an annual basis, and are governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents.

Compensation Range: $146,490 - $230,460 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
