Vice President Capital Markets Advisory - Royal Bank of Canada : Job Details

RBC seeks a Vice President, Capital Markets Advisory in New York, NY to manage trading execution for money market, FX, commodities, interest rate, FX derivatives, and investment security portfolio activities.

Responsibilities include reviewing and monitoring trading activities to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines; supervising funding processes; assessing market and institutional risk levels; maintaining client relationships; and developing contingency plans in a fast-changing market environment.

The role also involves developing and executing strategies for unsecured funding, capital raising, liquidity management, and securities portfolio management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in physics, finance, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in capital markets focusing on Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities (FICC), and equity products
• Experience in generating trade ideas, innovating products, pricing and structuring products, and developing marketing documentation
• Experience in analyzing market opportunities and developing innovative financial products and structures
• Experience in integrating valuation adjustments (XVAs) and risk management methodologies into pricing, conducting price simulations, and defining optimal booking strategies
• Series 7 and 63 licenses required within 6 months of hire

The salary for this position is $292,427 per year, excluding bonuses and benefits such as a 401(k) plan, health/dental/vision insurance, life and disability insurance, and paid time off.
