Veterinary Practice Manager Location: NVC – Lake Charles, Louisiana Position Type: Full-Time | $60,000–$65,000 Salary | Annual Bonus Opportunity | Relocation Support Available! This is not a back-office role. You will be hands-on and visible—building people, refining processes, and enhancing the client and patient experience every day. What You'll Do Lead the Team Stay active and present on the floor—coach, encourage, and lead by example Foster a culture of support, accountability, and team achievement Manage scheduling, communication, performance reviews, and one-on-ones Encourage staff development and continuous learning Elevate the Client Experience Drive client satisfaction, engagement, and retention Partner with Marketing to increase visibility and community outreach Ensure professionalism and consistency in all communications Handle escalated concerns with empathy and confidence Drive Operational Success Oversee inventory, vendor relationships, and facility needs Track and support financial performance alongside Operations leadership Use KPIs and data to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements Ensure Compliance & Safety Maintain OSHA, DEA, TVB, and labor law compliance Lead safety efforts and manage Workers' Comp documentation Protect staff, client, and patient confidentiality Provide Financial & Administrative Insight Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Oversee billing processes and support accounts receivable health Help sustain long-term profitability and service excellence Compensation & Benefits $60,000–$65,000 annual salary Annual performance-based bonus opportunity Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Life Insurance & Employee Assistance Program CE and Professional Development Support Employee Veterinary Discounts Why Join NVC?
