Lead with Purpose at Milford Animal Hospital - Hospital Administrator OpportunityMilford Animal Hospital is seeking a forward-thinking, business-savvy Hospital Administrator to join our established, 7-doctor practice. This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong background in business operations, finance, and multi-team management-someone with strong financial acumen who is confident managing a P&L, delegating effectively, and driving long-term strategy. You'll partner closely with our medical leadership to oversee the hospital's financial performance, streamline operations, and support a positive, growth-oriented culture.The ideal candidate will be skilled at managing department leads, building programs to enhance marketing and operations, and navigating change thoughtfully in a well-established environment. If you're ready to make a meaningful impact and lead a practice that truly values its people, we'd love to connect with you.This is a full-time opportunity, Monday-Friday.Compensation and Benefits**: Competitive pay: $90,000-$100,00 annual base salary* Quarterly bonus opportunities: based on hospital performance Hiring bonus package: $2,000 CE allowance: Up to $1,000 annually Health insurance: medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans available (with HSA option) Generous PTO package in accordance with site policy and applicable law Life Insurance and Disability Employee Assistance Program 401k optionsKey Responsibilities: Financial Leadership: Monitor hospital performance, manage budgets, oversee payroll and financial operations, and drive business growth through data-informed decisions. Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient workflow, maintain regulatory compliance (OSHA, DEA, VMB), manage equipment and inventory, and implement hospital policies and procedures. Strategic Direction: Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute long-term goals, expand services, and support referral and business partnerships. Project & Facility Management: Lead day-to-day operations, scheduling, and maintenance while aligning administrative functions with overall hospital objectives. Client & Community Engagement: Oversee marketing strategies, resolve client concerns, enhance client experience, and foster retention and growth. Team Leadership: Manage and support department leads, oversee hiring and development, maintain staffing levels, and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.Your Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required (BBA or BS in Business Administration preferred) CVPM preferred 5+ years of business management experience is required; Management in a veterinary clinical setting preferred Proven expertise in P&L and budget management, with a track record of driving business growth and exceeding financial goals Outstanding communication skills with a collaborative, servant leadership style Emotional resilience and the ability to navigate challenging or high-stress situations with professionalism Experience leading managers and overseeing staff development, training, and performance Strong computer literacy and ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies Self-driven and proactive, with excellent problem-solving capabilities Comfortable working independently and making decisions with minimal supervisionDiscover the Difference at Milford Animal HospitalMilford Animal Hospital is a premier, team-centric practice known for delivering high-quality, concierge-style veterinary care.
