Pine Woods Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team! Pine Woods Animal Hospital is proud to practice Fear Free techniques and applicants who have their FF Certification are encouraged to apply! Our Veterinary Assistants play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by supporting appointments, preparing for surgeries, assisting with treatments for hospitalized pets, and delivering comprehensive client education. This position is ideal for those new to the field and eager to learn, as we offer thorough training. This is a full-time position, Mon-Fri with rotating half-day SaturdaysCompensation and Benefits:

• Competitive pay: $16 - $18/hour **for each hour worked (based on experience)

Required qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Client Communication
  • Restraint
  • Outpatient procedures
